QUESTION: I have no experience with audio recording or podcasting. Should I still take this course?
ANSWER: Yes! We started our podcast with an iPhone and free Zoom account. The simplicity of podcasting is what makes it so attractive. If you know how to record a voice note and send a text, you have the foundational skills needed to start podcasting.
QUESTION: Can I really create and launch my podcast in 30 days?
ANSWER: Yup! If you follow along with each lesson, you will be ready for launch in 30 days. We use a process called "Design Thinking" to build your purpose-driven podcast. This process will create a foundation for everything, including marketing and monetization. By the end of the class, you will have more than audio recordings, you will have a podcast that fulfills your purpose and empowers your listeners.
QUESTION: How much money do the top podcasters make?
ANSWER: The sky is the limit! But, as it is with most things, it all depends. For example. "The Joe Rogan Experience" makes about $800,000 per episode. With three episodes per week, his show makes $9.6 million per month. Plus another $16,500 - $264,000 per month on YouTube. Pat Flynn’s "Smart Passive Income" podcasts make more than $100,000 per month in affiliate revenue (we explain this in class).
"Last Podcast On The Left" makes more than $50,000 per month with their membership alone (also explained in class).
QUESTION: Ok, that's cool. But how much money can I make podcasting?
ANSWER: Again, the sky's the limit! This all depends on your personal monetization strategy (explained in class) but, it's reasonable for a podcast with 1,000 average listeners to make more than $1,000 per month. Remember, the podcast industry is growing by double digits every year! It's on pace to add another 40 Million listeners in the next year alone. The more growth, the more money it generates.
